Susan Eve Haar is a lawyer and playwright living in New York City. A member of The Actor’s Studio, Ensemble Studio Theater and H.B. Playwright’s Unit, she recently received a commission from the Ensemble Studio Theatre and Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
In 2015, she initiated a food law symposium at Harvard Law School that has gathered academics, leading practitioners and students from nearly fifty law schools across the country to foster the next generation of leaders in the field. She serves as a consultant to the Dean of New York University Law School, a board member of the Council on the Arts MIT, as a board member of the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT and was a founder and first board chair of Dress for Success, a global NGO operating in a hundred and fifty cities and twenty- five countries.
Her work life has included the Office of Intergovernmental Relations, New York City, The Board of Review for Corruption In The Building Industry, New York City, Counsel to the Chair City Planning New York City, Boston Redevelopment Authority responsible for Contract Compliance, Zoning and Legal, ADA Middlesex County.
She is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
