The Center for Law, Brain & Behavior puts the most accurate and actionable neuroscience in the hands of judges, lawyers, policymakers and journalists—people who shape the standards and practices of our legal system and affect its impact on people’s lives. We work to make the legal system more effective and more just for all those affected by the law.

Lisa Frantzis is a Senior Managing Director at Advanced Energy Economy (AEE), a national association of business leaders transforming policy to accelerate the growth of advanced energy and make our energy system more secure, clean, and affordable. At AEE, she leads the Utility Advisory Committee and CEO Forums that address business model reforms and regulatory changes needed to accelerate the transition to a 21st Century Electricity and Transporation System. These initiatives convene utility executives, Public Utility Commissioners, and advanced energy companies to develop a vision for reform that is responsive to the needs of each state and drives towards concrete action.

Lisa has also been a Partner in Guidehouse’s (formerly Navigant’s) Energy Practice since 2002, leading work in advanced energy technologies. Prior to Navigant, she consulted at Arthur D. Little for 23 years in energy efficiency and clean energy. Over her 40 years of consulting experience, she has determined renewable and clean energy integration options for utility companies; identified energy program options for international government agencies; developed business strategies for energy manufacturers; and conducted due diligence for financial firms considering clean energy investments.

Lisa is currently on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC) and LineVision, Inc. and previously on the Boards of three other organizations: the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), the Solar Energy Business Association of New England (SEBANE), and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). She has been an Ambassador for the U.S. Clean Energy, Education & Empowerment program since 2014 and was awarded the New England Women in Energy and Environment, Leadership Award, in 2019. She also serves on the Boards of Quassy Amusement Park and La Donna Musicale since 1998, as well as the Advisory Board for the Center for Law, Brain and Behavior at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2014.
