Ophelia DahlFor over twenty years, Ophelia Dahl has worked as an advocate for the health and rights of the poor. Inspired by a trip to Haiti, in 1987 Ms. Dahl co-founded Partners In Health (PIH), a non-profit organization based in Boston. As PIH Executive Director from 2000-2015, Ms. Dahl has helped PIH forge groundbreaking successes in treating the diseases of the poor and promoting health and human rights in resource poor settings. Expanding on the work started in Haiti’s Central Plateau, PIH now operates over 60 hospitals and health centers with more than 12,000 colleagues worldwide. Ms. Dahl is now Chair of the PIH Board.
